YAY! and not so yay
Ok...today is super tiring at work, i can't believe it! i have in total about 10 over accounts to monitor!!! this is crazy, and tmr we will be officially on our own...so damn scary :( But thinking bout all the dumb things we did...i just can't help but laugh. Like trying to type 'E' in the system HAHAHA...and addressing sirs and mdms HAHAHA...etc etc
My da jie bought me a zen neon 6 GB manz!!! i can't believe it...so cool! with radio and recorder too :) yay...i'll never have to carry that old discman around again...not forgetting that stack of cds! i think no one in the world is using discman anymore since i've switched to zen HAHAHA...last one standing is down.
Anywayz it's still charging, so i didn't really upload alot of songs yet...it can store up to 3000+ songs muahahahahaha.....
I really miss school manz...but i heard what ma ma san sling bag (one of our in charge in sch) said from the rest "oh, you all never go for briefing...too bad lor" that woman just needs a nice slap...hello?! we are at work because you put us here manz...damn ass! (anyone interested to buy cookies, cake or gelare vouchers please contact me...help me with my personal selling stuff)
Anywayz, dunno what to wear tmr again...and i really really hate heels...my toes are all rotting. I actually wore this pink sandles i bought from pretty fit like ages ago when i was in sec 1? or pri 6...ya somewhere around that time...because it is comfortable.
Oh ya! Joshua, Shachin and Chee yong came to visit us after work hahaha so nice of them...and i met sabby and ah leong on the way too :) aiz...when can i go back to school?????
8th December is so far away!!! ARGH!!!!

Air revitalisor
It's been a super tiring week for me and all of us at UOB, gosh...some people just have super long breath...ok i shall not talk about work anymore, about 6 more weeks to go people...lets look forward to December 8, and we can go back to school after that :)
I bought this air revitalisor yesterday, and also 2 bottles of aroma oil...it's really not bad manz, the smell is not the very strong kind...good for our nose (my family), it is also good for cough, and it also has calming effects...i bought everything for only like $28 yup.
I feel like going out...but i'm just too tired manz, i got about one more day to rest before the start of another horrible week...damn!

First time picking calls
Oh gosh, today was our first time picking up real calls...it was damn scary! i was partnering jie zhi...haha i took the first call manz...scare the hell outta me, my whole hand was so cold. I shoke hands with this uncle in the brouchure room then he went "woah, why your hand so cold?" (nervous ah) First call was an ang mor...alot of stuff we can't check, cause we haven't got our login id and all...so we end up running to gary every now and then haha
Well, i got scolded by this woman la...in japan, regarding her transactions...wth! can't reveal too much here...ya, i might be jailed HAHA...anywayz, we all had loads of good and bad calls la...jie zhi and i were doing mostly on platinums and signatures, damn stress...(not forgetting, new promotions are up so frequently, like every min you check the email, got something new, so have to keep updating)
We also forgot so many things we've learnt, is like once we're seated there, we do stuff untrained newbies would do, we forgot all the "thank you for calling..." and verifications! gosh...i think i will just die if they review those calls...anywayz, thank goodness tomorrow's a public holiday!
Normal calls people take is 100 plus a day, and average calls we took were 13 calls each HAHA...we were damn slow...most of the time we are saying "oh ok, please hold while i do a check for you" haha, then the warm transfers, faxing, printing, the looking for the correct form to fill amongst the hundred different kinds?, follow up calls...yea and many many more!!! busy busy busy!!!
Tomorrow, i'm just gonna relax...no more calls, so don't be surprise if i hang up on you.

1 week gone!
Woo hoo...it's been a week since the day we started work or rather...training at UOB. Finally we can take a break! We took our test this morning, and luckily i passed, 40/50 (passing mark is 75% ok!) damn scary...
I really thought i would fail, cause yesterday night i fell asleep while studying as usual...and i woke up at like 3am plus and went "oh shit! my 5 stacks of notes are still untouched" so i studied and fell asleep once again at around 5am and woke up at normal waking up time...and i rush through the 5 notes on the way to work...
Anywayz, today not much stuff, Oh, highlight of the day would definitely be the listening in to real calls!!! i was just listening in, and i'm already very panic, i think i'll really screw my calls HAHA, but hmm, i've learnt a lot i must say from teh training and all. We must all learn to develop excellent listening skills and the ability to anticipate what the customer may ask while talking to them, and THAT, is really not easy at all...takes years of experience.
Yesterday i also bought some hp stickers to decorate my hp, Syida and i got the same design, and we really really love it! we sticked them on the moment we got back to uob from break hahaha...they look so pretty! i'm gonna buy more and like fill up the space.
uob notes in background! before i fell asleep haha...

After work today, andy, spongey, leong, ade, ser and jen came to have dinner with me!!! i was so so so happy...i really haven't seen everyone for so so long, and it's really nice to see those familiar faces again, i have so many things to tell them, i just kept talking and talking hahaha...Thanx for coming people, greatly appreciated :)

Damn those heels
Gosh...today i wore the same white heels to work, then everything was ok until after i went to buy the famous pao "my bun" at toa payoh to ta pao home, i bought like 8 of them...sotong otah, curry chicken, mushroom chicken and cheese chicken. Yup, cause today is my mum's birthday, so must add extra dish...yea
On the way home, i decided not to take bus 334 and instead, take the train to lakeside and walk home, cause seriously i was carrying quite alot of things and it would be really inconvenient to take bus...who knows, the walk home seemed longer than ever...my feet hurt so much, but i didn't know they were bleeding!!! until i remove my shoes when i reached home...how horrid :(

my bloody toes...
Tomorrow i'm gonna wear something very flat, i don't care anymore...my feet is dying manz!!! both...got blisters at the back too...haiz
Anywayz, today is all in all a good day...UOB test on friday, and i haven't started. see ya soon!
PS. Happy Birthday Mummy!

Yo people...today is my first day at UOB, in the morning we did alot of admit work, filling in lots of forms and going through some banking ethics, what we'll probably expect during our stay, went around UOB to familiarise ourselves with the place yup...and oh ya, the dress code (bleah)

Seems like we wouldn't have as much luck as we thought, we have to wear formal everyday only on friday, we get to dress down :) better than nothing ah...then we were walking around and we saw alot of the staff there dressing casually...in the end we found out that today's theme is "worse dress day" HAHA so cute right...hmm, usually friday will have a theme...hopefully our first theme is nice!
The very cool thing in UOB must be the vending machine manz, we don't have to inserts coins, it's coded...cool huh! Ok i can't tell you too much if not i would be in of breach the banking ethic contract and i would be fine $125000 and jailed for 3 years HAHA...

the very cool vending machine

We went for lunch together today at "fork and spoon" quite nice, and i saw the famous pao stall, it's a pity it's not opened yet haha...i am like so foreign to toa payoh, but it seems like a really nice place to shop...got like sizzler, paperplus, kbox etc etc alot manz...i will definitely make good use of lunch time :)

toa payoh hub
After lunch our training starts...i'm placed into the credit card section...thank goodness i'm not in remittance, i don't think i'll remember...anywayz, everyone is really nice in UOB, and i look forward to training tmr again...formal wear ~_~

Well, i ate quite alot for dinner just now, chicken, pork, mushrom, fish, tang hoon, fries etc etc...they were delicious! ok maybe spongey won't agree to that HAHA...but really it's not burn, it's because the meat is black already hahahaHAHA...my crispy chicken! Thanx andy for supporting my cooking hahaha...andy threw the un cooked meat on the floor huh...hahaha
Serene bought her new hp and it's really kinda cool, got alot of functions :) and she took some pictures too!Adeline came to join us in the beginning and the end haha but it was nice to see more MBians around.
After dinner i had a sweetcorn ice cream...i forgot that i cannot eat cold stuff ah! but i ate it still...we went to play pool after that, it was like my first time playing with some pro instruction! haha i really can't aim ah...hopefully i can play better next time!
We managed to get onto the last train at marina bay (12.10am) and i have to get off at kranji and take a cab home, cause the train terminates at kranji...why not je right? haha anywayz, the taxi fare was ok...within my expectation so not too bad haha! alright, will upload the pics soon...i haven't got the usb wire to upload to my com...so ya, till next time, see ya!

still dunno....
Hey people...i still dunno if i've been posted to UOB...after so long haha! We go to school everyday to slack, rot and stone...We're now all super well train...we probably have the fastest moving set of fingers ever..."alt F4 then press the off button" Boom...no more evidence hahaha...i truly hope those lecturers are not looking at this manz...anywayz haha
If you walk to B409 you'll probably be looking at 2 uno tables...hmm, maybe other games like heart attack and bluff too! KBox session only starts in the evening hahaha, then there will also be the movie session (watched Tokyo drift today) and gaming session HAHAhaha...
During break time today i was like in the room with about 5 of my uob mates...4 of us were sleeping, when miss sabrina came in and "eh...wake up! go wash your face" ! haha...she didn't really like scold us, maybe because it's break time...well you should've seen all our funny sleeping position. Kai made his own bed using 3 chairs...and mine was cap on my head to cover my face, head on the wall, sitting on the chair and legs on another chair...very shuang position btw haha.
Around like 5pm plus...we all gathered around to just talk, and then from outside of the room we look like we're having a serious discussion but really it was... "tmr, you bring soccer ball, you bring tennis racket, you bring hockey stick, you take care of the food, and you, music, and you, beer..." HAHAHA...tmr's gonna be another boring day...hopefully we get the results soon.

so many things...
Alright, i found out where i was posted to yesterday (drum roll) UOB...yea, and we all have to submit a resume by Monday, and mon will also be our interview! i still can't remember any of their consumer products...i just can't dunno why, and i haven't started on the resume! (formal wear on monday manz)
After school yesterday i also went for dinner with er jie and da jie at Paragon's spageddies! i ate the cray fish pasta...forgot the fancy name. Anywayz it is damn nice! Everyone should go try it :) After dinner da jie took us to Vivo City! (not open yet yesterday, only tenants allowed) so it's kinda cool that we get to enter Vivo before everyone else...well, the place is still not very done up, very dusty everywhere and there were also many other tenants around doing up their outlet. We were at Vivo until 2 something am! er jie and i were so sleepy i was nodding away at the not very done up Carls Jr...yup, so i suggest everyone to not go to Vivo first, wait till maybe a month later when everything is done up and when the air is fresher...(all the smell of the paint and saw dust, not forgetting the haze) So, that was how i spent my mid autumn festival...at Vivo.

Here are some pictures taken in Vivo, no one around, so can do alot of funny stuff haha
For more pictures of Vivo in the making...please visit http://colinandjo.blogspot.com/
Today i woke up and went to teban to wait for my uncle to take me and my mum to the sensei...then sensei is super pro. My right leg have always been pretty screwed, the knee and the thigh (bone area near the hip) but i never knew it was so serious until he told me my tight bone...the round one was pushed up slightly so it's er...not really in place where it should be in the hip. (must be that hockey injury back in sec sch) Then he said my right leg is slightly shorter!!! then later he pulled my leg...i don't really know what he did, but it was VERY PAIN, oh i think he arranged the bone...ya, then later he told me to lie straight and me measured my legs, then he said "ok yi yang liao" gosh...so scary, then after that i tried walking, it sure felt much much much better. I am not allowed to eat beef, mutton, duck, or drink any cold water for a month, to allow the bone to grow, haha, and i can't seat on low chairs, and i can't fold my legs, can't jump, can't run...yea
Will update soon, gotta go bathe and eat, then i'll have to go out to look for a proper formal top for the interview and come back later to write my resume...bye

TEP
Wow, it's been 3 days since the start of TEP, and yup i got into the school's customer service centre (CSC) together with Ee Boon, ah Hou and Azimah haha. Well, since day one we've been sitting in LTD1 staring at slides about telemarketing and good service and good rapport and the art of listening and watching videos too! The one i really enjoyed is Ron Kaufman's "unbelievable" everyone should go take a look at that super video. It was a seminar he gave in Singapore many years back. That guy is hilarious, not forgeting the hmm...very retro dressing of our fellow Singaporeans back then.
Well, CSC is so far so good, we haven't really started work, unlike the other stopovers, plus we always get alot of breaks :) well i just hope that things will remain as nice when the real work begins.
We walk passed the call centre at the ground floor today, and man...that guy was playing dota! haha...Ee Boon said he would like that guy to be his buddy haha (cause we have this buddy system starting on the first week or so...pair up with a senior thing haha)
Alot of funny stuff happened, like ah Hou's cross word puzzle haha! ok yesterday we were all given this cross word to do (topic: CS, and it's pretty tough i tell you anywayz...) and ah Hou had to leave earlier for his driving lesson, and after that this other lecturer came in to collect our puzzles, and she said there is one person who did not hand up, and she checked with Ee Boon if ah Hou handed up, and Ee Boon said yes. In the end, we settled it the primary school way, yes...standing up, and if your name is called you seat down. The weird part in no one was left standing, it became so confusing, the teacher then said later that it must this other girl who left before ah Hou.
Here comes the funny part, today when we first enter the LT, ah Hou took out his cross word from his bag!!! and then he asked "eh, what's the answers huh"! then Ee Boon and I, we were like "hurry keep it, put it in your bag" (ah Hou looking blur, and keeping the puzzle in a hurry) haha Ee Boon was like, if they find out it's you, we'll probably be beaten up hahaha...
Hmm...today we also watched a very boring video on some 8 steps, 3/4 of the class was sleeping! so scary...haha Oh yea, we were given our very first assignment today, to write a report. Ours is on CS in the retail industry. We had a hard time forming our group hahaha...cause there's only 4 of us, and we were suppose to form groups of 8, so we asked aroun to see if anyone wants to join us, apparently they got their own group already...so Azimah said we should just wait till the end, there should be another 4 without group. So we waited, and the lecturer was like "who is without a group" then there was silence, and she said "eh wait, ok my mistake, all of you are grouped already" !!!! Then we were like...wait a minute how bout us?! then after she dismissed us to the lab, we decided to tell her, and before we did that we saw 3 (2 from diploma in marketing haha) other guys standing around then Nigel said "eh you all no group ah? join us"!! marketing students...haha we work the same way.
Tomorrow is activities day at the hockey pitch! I hope we're playing hockey, at least that, i won't won't feel that it's boring, plus at least i know how to play. Anywayz, will write again...
PS...the daytona machine in grassroots club, the one on the left is freaky...the steering wheel moves on it's own. Most worth it game goes to puzzle bubble, 40 cents can play like...8 rounds.
