Just came home from a super reunion dinner at my grandma's house! yummy haha...and we all had a great time too! enjoy the pics...

CNY 2007!

Wow...went to tanjong pagar with yh after school today...we're SUPPOSE to eat the super nice "zha jiang mian" and "guo tie" but sadly, the store wasn't open! we walked in the rain (andy! thanx for the umbrella!) for so so so long...anywayz, we ended up eating some ulu noodles at this ulu cafe, ironically, it's called "no.1 cafe"~~

We headed down to china town to get my tattoo! 2 for 10 bucks...i got myself the pig one and the “ 气 ” one :) OH! not forgetting all the good food we bought! i bought a box of egg tarts, 2 boxes of chestnut gao, a box of pandan kueh with coconut...i would've bought even more if they weren't so heavy and if there weren't so many people.

Busy day...

Quite alot of stuff to blog about today :) firstly, for the second time in this bsu stopover i was early!!!! muahahaha...miss tan went "keep it up" and mr wong still thinks i'm late "you're late right, you're late..." then i went "no no no...i am early!" haha

Today is also the first day of my official duty at IBRC, i did some shelving and helped mr lee search for some marc tags of hmm....quite alot of books haha! As the saying goes, time flies when you're having fun, and before i knew it it's 12.15pm, and mr lee let me off duty early! yay hahaha

Thank goodness my friends came to accompany me! i think if not for them i would've rotted there! Oh, and we manage to start planning a lil bit for the up coming chalet, which is not bad...tomorrow the discussion continues!

In the afternoon, we did the usual slacking around...the day ended with presentation of what we've done so far for our projects. After school, andy brought me and sabby to coffee club for interview :) if nothing goes wrong we'll probably start work in march!

After the interview we went to food republic to eat *drum roll please* "TEPPANYAKI - 鉄板烧 "muahahahaha...it's pretty nice manz, hmm, but i eat already not very full ah haha, but it's a nice experience, andy's sit not very strategic...HAHAHA he was sitting right in front of the guy cooking! and got alot of extra salt and pepper flying into his cooked food hahaha...and his bean spourts was very dry and burned by the time he was ready to eat them...cause the pan at his place is super warm hahaha!

When we're done with the main course, andy and i went to order hot desserts...(to people who cannot eat cold stuff and hmm, many other things too! welcome to the club andy HAHA) I must say, the dessert is not very nice. The korean stall and indian food stall on the other hand looks really tempting!

I have a feeling the money i earn from coffee club will mostly be spend at food republic...haiz, this is just some eating disorder i must put under control...hahaha

MK0502 steamboat and cereal cookies day

Yesterday:

I suppose to be at the M.A.C private sale in the morning, but er jie and i were just too tired and couldn't get ourselves out of bed...so we didn't go in the end.
In the afternoon, MB went for steamboat at xian de lai :) 16 of us altogether! it was really fun! we were at the third floor of the restaurant and it feels really homely...we wanted to have dessert after dinner, but the stall was just too pack haha...OH! and eve was with us yesterday too! cool huh, we haven't seen each other for like almost a year, and she's still the same haha!

Ee Boon was busy plucking prawns for everyone again...haha, this time yh wore a black top! Then there was the crab that never came hahaha...we kept ordering but it just refuses to come...dunno why; And i still love the sesame paste alot!

Oh, i bought a cool watch with chinese characters for $5...but that damn watch just stopped moving, i have to like hit it then it will move, i'm gonna get its battery changed later...i also bought a multi coloured necklace for $8...quite nice hahahaha

Today:

Woke up quite late as usual, and my mum and da jie is already making the cereal cookies...second round! i helped to place the paper cup thingy...on the tray and help to roll the dough with the cereal. The cookies are really quite nice :) YUM~~~~








Right now, my mum is frying the bee hive, you know the chinese new year biscuit, yup...not easy i must say! Later ahe will be making dumplings too...woo hoo~~~nice
