Flyers day!

Today i went to give flyers for TianPo at AMK hub with andy my fellow lonesome 4 friend...it was a tiring 6 hours of work (should be 5 actually, but we didn't really go for break) haha...so many people waved and shook their hands and heads to me today hahaha (trying to say "no no no" or "i don't want")

Other times, i was like the directory..."do you know where is the toilet?", "where is ntuc?", "how to go to the mrt?", "is there any starbucks here?", "got sell pet food?"...etc etc

However tiring work may be, it's still fun...it's a pretty easy job with good pay haha! Before work, i went to buy chilli crab curry puff...woah, you guys should really check out how the guy does the kneading of the dough! gosh...he jumps and moves together with the dough...so funny!!! Not forgetting my warm cup of soy bean...very nice! and and and the ntuc there is super huge...like giant!

After work, andy brought us around AMK before our final destination...haha we visited the very cheap converse shoe shop, and it's authentic manz, not fake...(eb! it's really real...it's not conServe haha) and the nice little round cakes with interesting fillings, i'll probably try that tomorrow :)

Finally we reached the place andy was talking about...the herbal soup stall! i had ginseng chicken with yam rice...super nice manz! taste homely...hahaha! after eating we went to the library to look for shanghai travel books...can't wait manz!!! 9th April here we come!!!

our food from the herbal stall :)

Our one month holiday is finally here! i'm gonna spent my first week tidying up my very messy room...the one where i used to say "i'll pack soon" to avoid the possible headaches that might occur while packing! It's been around hmm 3 years...since i last packed it...after Os la...haha

I took some pictures of the room just now, i'll also take some after i've tidied the place, and then i'll post them for you to compare HAHA...

OH YA...mummy and er jie went to pick da jie up from the airport already, da jie is finally back from Bangkok! woo hoo..."da jie, got remember to buy my stuff not?" HAHA (should be on the way home liao)

Alright that's all for now...and hmm, we'll be giving out flyers tomorrow at 2pm at AMK hub, so if you're free do drop by to collect some flyers from us! To end today's blog, i'll just post 2 gifts from my er jie....

a GIRAFFE pencil!!!! yay...

and yes...she gave me this water bottle i've been aiming for quite long!

To monkey er jie "thank you la, the pencil rocks"

Report done!!!

YAY!!!!!!!!! i finally finished chionging the 2 reports (stopover and personal selling)...i slept for a grand total of 45 mins! damn sleepy now...and serene called me about 7 times trying to wake me up haha...and i didn't hear anything...until the most effective alarm clock rang~~my mum! haha

Well, then the usual rushing out of the house and cursing of the bus happened. The bus was so late today i reached je at 8am manz, stupid uncle, drove so slowly! he should consider driving the tram at sentosa or something.

Once again i was late for school, but really it's not me...it's the bus!!! Mr wong's in a good mood today...he didn't record any timings, he went "Janis... (then he ticked!) today it's raining very heavily right?" and i went "YES! (nodding) " muahaha...then i managed to complete my reports before 11.30 am as planned!

I might be going to the library later...to catch some sleep. Suppose to watch TMNT with yh today, but sorry manz, i'm really so sleepy, we'll watch it on wednesday instead.

Alright, now to the exciting stuff! I went to watch Phantom of The Opera yesterday evening! IT IS SUPER NICE!!!! the nicest musical i've watched...the sets and props are so beautiful!!! alot of thought! there were also some component of magic involved...very cool, and at some scenes, the stage looks just like a water fall, yes, water flowing down the stage kind of water fall! it's that cool!

At some points, there were gun shots and fire...but not smoky at all! cool huh~~I must also add that the performers were damn fast, this second they just went backstage from the side, next second they were singing on top!

Plus plus! what is Phantom of The Opera without the chandelier right! The chandelier is so pretty!!!!!! and yes, it fell! it fell like it supposed to...damn cool la, everyone should go watch it!

PS. Remember the signature monkey in the show? It was there yesterday too :)
PSS. The conductor is this young Caucasian lady! cool~~

Da jie driving ;)

On our way there!!!

HAHA!!! er jie and moi

Humph!

CTI anymore...i have been wronged 3 times since the day i started working in cc...horrid "or nang"!!!

Incident one: or nang stapled the wrong receipt for billing one my first day of work, when he saw sabby and me changing it to the correct one, he thought we were the ones who stapled wrongly!!!

Incident two: today...or nang told me to do setting for 10, so i went and do...later he came and say "why you do 10 i told you to do 12" WTH!!!!

Incident three: today while i was bringing the freshly brewed cappuccino to table 10...or nang actually walked into me...and spilled my cappuccino, and mr or nang actually told me to tell grace that i knocked onto the wall...hello?! are you mad...but he went and told grace that i spilled...idiot! well, grace didn't shout, so i decided to just let him off.

Stupid or nang. Hello Jason if you are reading this...i don't like you, and stop giving wrong instructions and sprouting nonsense.TMD....%&^%^&$*

Da jie's Birthday!

Today is da jie's birthday :) i took 2 hours flexi leave from school and went to far east to try to find her something she might like...It was pretty tough, cause my da jie has got almost everything, you name it, she has it!

I was about to call it a day when i saw this shop call BeadsPassion...it's really pretty cool, they sell all sorts of beads, chains, pendants, hooks, jump rings, chains...even the pliers manz! There's actually 2 stalls in far east, the one i went to was the one at the 3rd floor...i became friends with the sales girl :) i was first attracted to the aeroplane pendant! it's so so so cool!!! and i wanted to make a necklace for myself...then i thought, hey why not make something for da jie...haha

I spent about an hour in the shop....really, cause i have never, i repeat NEVER make a bracelet before. The sales girl was kind enough to explain to me the functions of the different pliers, and introduced me to a cheaper alternative because i'm a ... er.... beginner!

Anywayz, i spent $36.60 in the stall altogether! (3 packets of 8 for $3.40 Swarovski beads, $5 for 1m of chain, $1.80 for hooks, $1.50 for jump rings, $5 for chain nose pliers, $4.50 for cutter, $5.50 for a round nose pliers and 2 lockets for $2.80 each) scary huh...

My hands keep shaking while doing the bracelet, and i had to wear my glasses...imagine that people! well, the end result is er...really quite simple, but hey, i'm no expert!

The three pliers

Swarovski, chain, hooks, jump rings, lockets

End product!

Happy Birthday da jie! one year older already hahahahaha

Goodbye...

Today is the last day of my grandfather's funeral...memories we had with him will never be forgotten.

I'll never forget the ice creamsSS you bought for me when i was little and the special desserts you love making [mango strips with soya sauce and sugar...yummy] :) my grandpa taught me how to play the chinese chess and is probably the only one who can stand playing chess with me...cause i take a longgggg time to make a move, and he'll always be very patient, thank you ah gong! My ah gong loves eating "ah tap chi", peanut pancake, or peanut candy wrap in bread...he can write very pretty Chinese calligraphy and speak the Malay language too!

I don't like eating "kueh tiao" but i love the ones my ah gong cook...looks white and normal but taste super spicy! my ah gong also gave me 100 bucks to buy anything i like for my personal selling of cny goods :) He is also quite tall, and tan...hmm, his fingers are pretty long too! my ah gong knows how to take the mrt, but not the bus...he likes drinking tea from his huge tranparent mug, and loves drinking home made kopi-o from the brown cup :) This cny, my grandfather also spent almost 200 bucks on cny decorations for the house...before he became ill again. My ah gong loves me :) and i love my ah gong!

生离死别原来就是生命里最自然的事...
To my dearest grandpa "we will miss you".

Corliss and grandpa
