MK0502 Chalet 2008: April 1-3

It's been super long since my class chalet ended...just like how the last few posts are super overdueeEEE. Well whatever, i'm gonna blog about it now.

MK0502 Class Chalet - April 1 - 3, 2008!

Andy and i were suppose to be like planning the games and stuff...so after thinking for like days and days (even before the exams ok) we agreed on 3 (but only used 2 anyway due to time constrain). In the picture above, we were trying to draw another twister mat so that it'll be big enough for everyone :D

It is really pretty huge...as you can see, well i'm not that tall but ya...still, life size la.

I didn't take any pictures of the painting part...cause we were too busy painting and trying not to have the paint spilled or dripping anywhere they should not be. So here's how it looks like after it's done!

Haha...i'm posting this picture cause Andy looks pretty funny...and ya, me too...i had a really bad swollen eye (left) the night before and it didn't really heal until the second day of chalet.

And to create enough hype for games night, i created this informative poster :) Btw there's an error, can you spot it? haha i won't tell. I only saw it after it's done...

Day 1

On our way to the chalet...can't really open our eyes cause the sunlight is too glaring...can see my puffy eyes right, pretty obvious! Oh!!! see the 'J' earing i'm wearing, it was my first time wearing it...and because it's super thick the pain became unbearable...so i think i took it out the first night...and ya, my ear bled.

So we turned away from the sun...ya haha...

And when we've arrived at the correct bus stop...the place is pretty ulu~~~

Nobody knows where the road will lead us hahaa...

As we walk towards our chalet, we saw these...old buildings and lonely basketball courts.

We thought these were our chalets...we were like "eh quite scary huh~~our chalet looks like an unwanted school!"

But thank goodness those where we're going stay...this is! still as ulu!!! can hear crickets and crows can!

And finally we reached out destination!!!

LOL just kidding....it's red and pink and ya, it's still the day...

And we have arrived...safe and sound! (excuse my swollen left eye)

Then we went out to buy stuff for the BBQ night...eb and fy pretending not to know each other

LOL!!! i said "let's make a funny face" and ya...the whole time i was just trying to make my left eye bigger...hahaha

Day 2

Andy and moi shopping for the prizes for the games!

And guess who we met on our way back to the chalet...ah hou and gf!!! hahaha

Then later my Tous are on their way, so i went out to pick them up from the bus stop, and while waiting i walked around Pasir Ris Park. This picture above, i was trying to capture the lightning...but as you can see...or not see...ya i didn't manage to do it.

The park is pretty huge, and interesting! look at this little hill of slides and steps...

Then there's this spider web thingy

Yup, then there's this...i dunno what is it's name...semi spider web thingy?

Then if you walk futher down there will be hidden slides and swing and those huge "voice channeling system" thing, looks like a trumpet, will be situated far far away from one another, then when you speak into one your voice comes out from the other...ya, whatever that is.

And when me and my Tous are back, it was already drizzling, then yup we created out indoor BBQ pit (which cost us around 40 bucks, can't remember the exact amount, cause the heat went through the many layers and sort of burn the top layer of the chair!!! we tried to hide it from the person during inspection before checking out...but to no avail, damn it!). Anyway, the rain stopped a while later, so we moved back to the normal BBQ pit...

Everyone is seperated into 2 teams...this should be team 1

Team 2....i have no idea why the difference in team members! i think some team members are not in here hahaha...

(Will upload some of the videos another day...damn after like almost 45 mins, it says "upload 85M of 85M" then it just keeps loading and loading...nothing happens!!! and everything else just jammmmMMMM)

Anyway, so the first game is about 2 people from different teams coming up to draw lots for 2 action of 2 different characters and 1 location, and they are suppose to act it out...anyone who can correctly guess what the people are acting will earn 1 point for their respective team.

So...since i can't upload the videos yet, i shall go on to the second game!!! MEGA TWISTER!!!

The chalet ended with a bang! all in all everyone pretty much had fun. The food we ordered was not too bad and the games were successful too! It was a pity that not everyone turned up, and we had to cover up $$ for those who couldn't turn up last minute...sadly.

Hmm, cause all the arrangements were already made before hand and they were accounted for, and yup we included their amount into the budget while making orders and purchasing for all the barang barang! so yea, simply said...we had to cover for the amount shortage.

Andy's still waiting for LKM to approve the amount the school will subsidize!!! YES UNTIL NOW STILL WAITING.....i sure hope he gets back to Andy soon, if not we will just have to chase him for it.

Anywayz...it was great to see MBians after all the projects, presentations and exams! Thanks for coming :D
