All I've Been Up To...
I just bought a copy...or box of the Jolin album! it's finally here...i bought the HK pre-order version. Check it out...

This version comes with a free poster, free balloon cushion, mouse pad, and of course the CD plus, in a nice box :)

I like the simple but strangely nice design. Like old school wrapping paper kinda design.
I'm listening to the CD while blogging now :)
BTW, yesterday i came home and found this bee dead just next to my bed....

Explains the buzzing and strange movement of plastic bags earlier that morning....I have to sweep it onto this thick newspaper and throw it away....i was so afraid it might regain conscious or something....
Remember i said i was super busy over 3 major events this month....well, here are some pictures of 2 out of 3 of the event.
Hyun*dai World Golf Cham*pionship:

The event was a crazy success. Held at one of the best golf course...Sentosa Serapong! The barclays was held there too!

Went early to set up and make sure what we need is all there...pile of goodie bags

Branded one ok! and inside there's our in house magazine, golf balls with our event logo, cap, T-shirt...addidas one man...

One day before go and park the hole in one prize...

Us on duty, guys and tracy give goodie bags, moi....collect payment! damn stressful my role....

Anyway the chaging room is damn huge can!

Loooooonnnnnnggggg row of different moisturisers, hair sprays etc etc...the opposite row got oral care products! And there's even a massage chair!! The last time i saw a massage chair free for use in public is in Asco*tt.
Back to the event, 2 winners from this Singapore round is going to fly to Korea to compete against other countries! damn serious....
Next event Hyun*dai Family & Friends Festi*val 2009:
Another very successful event! our principles were very very happy, we gave away what we planned, captured a lot of prospects....very good. Oh, our principles actually got people from neil*son to come do survey...dun play play.

Maybe some of you saw our roadshow? or heard the roving reports on radio? or within 10m radius of the area? hahahaha

Love the special gazebos....not the ordinary dome shaped ones....they've been used too many times...but these beautiful formation came with loads of headaches and $$$

DJs Gl*enn and Je*an! their really friendly people :)

Best shot contest...cameras sponsored by Can*on :)

Free airbrush tattoo service

Free balloons...

Moi with the very cute balloon sculptor! she made me a balloon wristband!

With friends from MediaC* radi*o

Free candy floss

Free popcorn!...i love looking at them pop out of the container...

Andy came to say hi!

As it gets darker...the place became more romantic with all the warm lights....

I left at about 7pm....i heard there was a rainbow later that evening....with the setting sun as backdrop....very beautiful.

Next day, DJs from chinese station :)
3rd major event is tomorrow and sunday....hope it'll be as successful as the first 2 :)
Oh this year i went to the IT show for the first time in my life....and probably the last, unless i seriously need to get something and i'm kinda broke and looking for good deals.

I was there with my bagua jen and seriously....we were in war zone! people were everywhere...the picture above is probably one of the more spacious spot.

First thing i bought.....not related to IT show at all...but we walked to a bodyshop sale within the IT show....and everything is really really worth it, check out my bag of stuff!

The ladies...squeezing here and there...
In the end i bought a macbook, paid $39 more and got a free upgrade, a printer/scanner/photocopier and an external hard disk. THEY WERE DAMN HEAVY!!! and i had to carry them out of the crowd, and people will walk and push and kick the printer! my arms were so so so tired already ... then come one kick...imagine the impact...PLUS i was carrying all the bodyshop barang...i bought $280++ worth of goods....damn heavy!
Wait for the lift to take us down...almost 45 mins....
By the time i reach level 1....the printer was only like 2mm off the ground when i carried it....practically dragging already.

We took a break a this restaurant....

I was super tired, but also super happy i could finally seat down!

So was jen........before she could get anything from the IT show, she just wanted to get out.

Both of us were too tired to think of what to eat, so we settled for this simple tokyo noodles....surprisingly delicious!

Tired~~~~my both arms and shoulder ached like crazy the next few days....Thanks jen for helping me with all my barangs he whole time and until the taxi stand.

My crazy heavy buys...

From Bodyshop.....
Was all the hardwork worth the while.....? i really dunno, maybe yes. But i don't think i'll go through all that again....ok, maybe if i ever go IT show, i swear i won't get anything larger than an A4 thing. Bodyshop sale......hmm, i'll probably go for the sale prepared, like with a backpack or something.
Earth Hour:Anywayz anywayz.....do you guys know that it's Earth Day tomorrow? and from 8.30pm (local time wherever you live) it's earth hour! We can all do our part in support of this global event by simply switching off lights for just 1 hour!
"In 2009, Earth Hour is being taken to the next level, with the goal of 1 billion people switching off their lights as part of a global vote. Unlike any election in history, it is not about what country you’re from, but instead, what planet you’re from. VOTE EARTH is a global call to action for every individual, every business, and every community. A call to stand up and take control over the future of our planet. Over 74 countries and territories have pledged their support to VOTE EARTH during Earth Hour 2009, and this number is growing everyday.
We all have a vote, and every single vote counts. Together we can take control of the future of our planet, for future generations.
VOTE EARTH by simply switching off your lights for one hour, and join the world for Earth Hour."
Learn more about Earth Hour
hereI'll be going for the JJ lin concert tomorrow, so i won't be able to off any lights...but i'll definitely swicth off everything before i leave house :) hmm...the concert's gonna be using up a lot of electricity......how ironic, here i am supporting Earth Hour and going to a concert at the same time.....guess i'll just have to switch off stuff more often to cover up for the concert.
Oh, and my company's event tomorrow is in relation to Earth Day too! shall tell you more when i can :)
Till next time...cya

Home Alone! (First Blog Post: New MacBook)
Hey people! the past few week's been hell for me...i shall elaborate on what i did in another post. Anywayz, i bought a new MacBook at the IT show, not the new new Macbook, but the white one la....i paid another $39 on top of the $1588 and they upgraded my ram to 3GB and i get an external hard disk and a printer/scanner/photcopier! not a bad deal right.
I know...pretty late to blog about it feeling all excited and stuff, but truth is, i didn't have time to explore it until today! So i have to say "Jan the Great upgraded from iBook to MacBook and is super happy about it"
Back to the title, my mum and my sisters went to Japan, so i'm home alone with brother lucky for now. I just washed my clothes....for the first time using the new washing machine, it's really easy! And the whole time i was washing and running about playing with the Macs and stuff....brother lucky just laid there in his little corner.......such a good boy!
It's quite late already, so i guess for now, i'll just let these pictures tell you more.
Start to wash clothes...
Amazed with its simplicity...
Brother Lucky relac one corner...
Transfering Files & Programs
Brother sleeping....while i work

Stupid Student
I am super angry now, i haven't been blogging for so long, but now i feel i must.
I just had a super unhappy conversation with this student from the mar*keting insti*tute of Singapore. In the midst of all my work, this student called thinking that i am suppose to help her with her school project......she's really rude.
Here's what happened:
*phone rings*
Me: Hello
Student: Hello i'm xx calling from the mar*keting insti*tute of Singapore
Me: uh huh....
Student: Our teacher gave me a project that is related to hyu*ndai. The question is "if you are the marketing communication manager of hyu*dai, what would you do to promote ..." (she freakin read the question for me)
Me: ok....so?
Student: I am at your website and *laughs* it doesn't really have a lot of info. (you call me to tell me that my website is not informative for you?)
Me: (stunt...speechless)
Student: Our teacher said we can go down to your showroom to gather information, but can you tell me where i can get information like press releases?
Me: Press releases you can get from our global website, there is a link from our website...(before i can continue saying)
Student: I'm at your local website now, can you guide me, guide me to where it is?
Me: (quite frustrated already) I really have no time now (we have 3 huge events happening this month...really no time)
Student: Then can someone else help me?
Me: No, our whole department is very busy
Student: Then do you have a department that is in charge of helping students with enquiries? (WTH! you think this is your school izzit)
Me: No!
Student: Then can i have your name?
Me: Why do you need my name? (like until now then you ask for my name...a bit too late not)
Student: I want to feedback to my teacher that this is the response i get from hyu*ndai. (damn it! you call me i must entertain you ah!)
Me: (super angory already!) ok xx, you called me without any prior notice to ask if i have the time to help you or even talk to you (yada yada) and i really don't see why i MUST help you with YOUR school project.
yada yada yada...asked for my name and email address and wants to send me a request!!!
Then she went: J-a-n-i-c-e
Me: NO. J-a-n-i-s
Student: Oh! hahaha...that's a unique spelling
Me: (TMD...)
yada yada yada...hung up.
And all who knows me will know that i won't let xx just laugh her way outta this.
So...i called the school and made a feedback about their students...and the person asked me for the student's name...so i got no choice but to provide her name...
Good luck xx, hopefully you'll learn that the whole world does not revolve around your school project and that not everyone will be like your teacher answering all your questions at your time and command....
You really should have just said ok and hung up when i told you i'm busy. You could've arrange for another day and time to call...i would've been willing to do that and help you. Too bad now....
