Andy's Present!

This post is published only today (after andy's birthday) so as not to spoil the surprise...

This post was written on 10 June 2010:

Today i went to get Andy's 22nd birthday present! I've thought about this gift for the longest time, and had been thinking "ok i'll buy" and "maybe not la" for the longest time too...mainly cause of the price....and i'm just a poor student haha.

But i thought, instead of buying other useless stuff, why don't i buy something more practical and worth the money? And since it'll last for a long while, i'll also be a good investment! So i went online and wrote down the names of the few that i thought was nicer...and not so ex~~

So today i went down to ion determined to finally buy a......Crumpler!

Here's the list:

When i passed the guy my list for him to help me identify those i've chosen, he said "wow that's quite a few there"! i explained that i wanted to see all of them, cause i don't really know what's the difference from the website....as you can see, he crossed out fux deluxe and hoax...no more stock! I immediately strike off horseman in my head when he showed me to it....it's too square-ish, and i didn't know it's a laptop bag! and complete seed is just so huge....so i'm left with western lawn.

Western lawn is not bad, but it does not come with a shoulder pad and inner compartments (if i didn't remember wrongly)..... Then, i saw what's next to it! Barney Rustle Blanket, perfect with shoulder pad and inner compartments! the presence of those inner compartments were really the deciding factor! I love inner compartments in bags!

And i thought, you know, since i'm already gonna spend the money, what the heck just buy the Barney Rustle Blanket! So i was deciding between red and grey one, i thought the grey one is really nice...i love grey! (and white and navy/royal blue) and i thought although the red one's nice, but for a guy...? hmm.....so i asked the crumpler guy's opinion, he said red and grey were more popular colours! (means i got good taste? hee hee) and he said grey seems more practical, easier to match......i totally agree, so i bought the grey one!

The crumpler guy showed me different ways of carrying the bag...very cool! i always wanted a crumpler for a go to school bag...but now that i'm almost graduating, having a crumpler really isn't as practical for me anymore.

And just like that! in less than 10-15 mins......i bought a new crumpler for Andy! And i didn't realise that the store was close while i was in it....until the lady open the door for me to exit! must be my lucky day! (think their doing some stock taking?)

Oh talk about lucky day....that reminds me of my horrible experience at The Body Shop in jp at the end of my shopping....i take back lucky day. I'll talk about that another time....don't wanna spoil my night.

So here's the bag:

No, not this bag....this bag was given to carry the actual bag...lol

Which was all wrapped up in this super long paper bag!

There's really no way to photograph the bag in its true colours well with my camera....the picture is not doing justice to the nice grey colours. I tried taking the bag with and without flash for your admiration :) This is the best i can do....just note that the colours are not exactly what you see.

Without flash

With flash!

3 Compartments!!! i love them :) One with zip somemore....bonus points! The pic on top is with flash.

The size, with flash...i'm blinded by the flash!

Without flash!

While walking around the food hall, i saw this interesting store - Happylemon! so i tried their choco pudding thing...at first i thought it'll be like what cool station had...chocolate yummy pudding in bubble tea (which jenjira and i love to drink after hockey training). But after i tried this happylemon one....cool station is still the best. I hope cool station can return...i miss my choc pudding bubble tea a lot!

This one has got a really strong milky taste, and they used those jap caramel pudding (which is really creamy and milky too). I had to stop drinking halfway through, cause it's so "ni" i will puke if i keep drinking.....so i guess if you love creamy and milky stuff, you like this.

I didn't bring my camera out, so i took these pictures with my hp, dunno if you can see the yellow piece of pudding in the cup?

That's all for now folks......
