Konad Stamping Nail Art
HELLO !!!! it's been a while ... haha this sem was crazy! i didn't have time to blog :( anyway, i'll be posting the long overdue Japan posts soon, and everything else. Before that, i wanna blog bout my most exciting buy (recently, before exams actually, didn't have time to try it until today).
Konad Stamping Nail Art!
Ok, maybe you have heard of it already, but it's new to me! check it out:

This is the set that i bought, 2 plates, 3 mini konad special nail polish and a stamping set

Was too excited that day, i tried m19 on one of my nail :) m19 is the french manicure plate

Not very nice, cause i used pearl white instead of pure white, so the colour was not very solid

Today the real experiment begins :)

Make sure you have everything you need ready, cause it's just so difficult to search for stuff when your nails are half done.

I used yellow as my main nail colour, this is faceshop's YL703

Feet...OPI, La Paz-Itively-Hot, NL A20. That's brother Lucky in the background!

Done stamping left hand! You have to wait until your nails are completely dry before you start stamping, if not everything will smudge. So i went and played WOW while waiting for my nails to dry :) you can't see from the picture, cause the baby pink (Konad's special nail polsih) can't be seen clearly with flash.

Here, my thumb.....

From the top, sorry, cause of the flash, i have to take pictures at weird angles so the image will show...

I've tried using other nail polishes for stamping, the results aren't as good, cause Konad's nail polishes are really really thick, so they show super clearly on just one stamp! Some youtubers suggest oxidising your ordinary nail polish to get them thicker.....i dunno if it really works, you can try if you want.

My right thumb....my right hand really cmi, everytime i do my nails, my left nails will look nicer, same for stamping....i just can't stamp or paint with my left hand, i'm right handed!

Everything is slanted .....excuse the horrible nail painting too

Forgot to tell you that this plate m11 was given to me by da jie :) so now i have 3 plates

These are the 2 i used today, m80 and m11

I used a face sponge (use the type in the pic above, not the porous kind, the one i'm using is from faceshop) to clean my stamp and scraper while working, it really helps a lot! I just pour nail polish remover on it, and after every stamp i just rub my stamp / scraper on it :)
The whole konad experience was really fun! everyone should try it! and i'm thinking of getting more of the plates and nail polishes and the double sided stamp!
Ok gonna end abruptly here, long time no see people, i'm gonna go play WOW now, till next time then :)
